About ‘King of Nothing,’ Aamir Nawaz said that this was a journey of realization of a man that has come too late as he looks back at the different stages of his life and relations which he lost due to his toxic masculinity. “It is a wakeup call that it’s time for men to stop using gendered language that equates the male body with ‘strength’ and the female body with ‘weakness’,” he said.

He said that this King was a person who will share his life memories on stage with the audience. Memories of his love, cowardliness, loneliness, stupidness and selfishness, and how he lost his life (his wife) through these memories. He starts to share different incidents of his interesting married life and with passage of time he realizes that he has lost everything, that’s making him a king – a king of nothing.

His tagline is something to remember for every one and that is “I am not married anymore because I know how to speak.” This performance took audience at a level where they started to explore a ‘King of Nothing’ in themselves and that’s why they successfully attached themselves with the performance. The performance is choreographed by Gulshan Majeed while music designed by Imran Nawaz. Theme song was designed and composed by well-known music composer James Douglas from Germany.
